What do you mean? You only need a link to PhpBB on the "Forum Index." Not the HTML & CSS Templates. Wink

It appears that you need the link to phpBB on a website template if you downloaded it.

According to forumotion's terms. ( And the discussion I had with Sanket, a forumotion moderator )

I know. It doesn't need to be on all pages. Only the "Forum Index." It does not state that in the Term's of Service of our forums.

Well, it appears that the forum owner needs it on the HTML homepage if they download a website template and want to use it on their forum.

I'll get Sanket to explain it to you, greatwork

Hey its me Sanket, i have come here just to give some information not as a moderator of the support forum. But as a user of forumotion.

I believe in being safe than to worry about my forum getting deleted for a silly reason like not having a single link.

You need to have the forumotion & phpbb links, because in the end forumotion is the host of your html page. Why don't you want to give credits to where your forum is hosted?

It does not state that in the Term's of Service of our forums.

Remember one thing, the TOS is modifiable at any point of time as stated in the TOS. So basically you can't challenge the TOS.

If you don't want to have the links its your decision, but in the future for some reason your forum gets deleted or anything of that sort. You cannot blame the person who provided you the template. Wink

Okay. I do have the ForuMotion Link on my page. Though I do not have PhpBB as that one is not required. I know the ForuMotion Link is required.
