How To Draw A Straight Line In GIMP
This tutorial will show you how to draw a straight line in GIMP. I will be using picture examples so that you can understand how to draw a straight line using your GIMP program.
Step 1 :
Open up your GIMP program and create a new page ( optional ) .

Step 2 :
Open up your toolbox and choose/select the pencil or brush. ( drawing equipment )

As you can see, in this tutorial, I will be using the brush.
Step 3 :
Look on your keyboard and find the 'SHIFT' key. ( right or left, doesn't matter as long as it is the 'SHIFT' key )
Make a small dot on the spot that you would like the line to start at. After you've done that, press and hold down the 'SHIFT' key until you angled the line straight.

Step 4 :
Press the 'left' mouse click to display your line.
Your result will look like this image below :
